Miss Effie's is a 100 year old cottage dedicated to the memory of a lady who was devoted to the finest principles of hospitality and caring for others.  At the present time it has three bedrooms, two baths, formal living and dining rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. 

Miss Effie's is available to small groups for meetings or parties.  Clients of Cypress Realty Group are invited to use the house in the short term while in town looking for permanent housing.  The house is also available to clients who have longer term housing needs.  Churches are invited to use the house for missionaries on furlough and other similar needs.

It is located in North Florence within a few blocks of the University of North Alabama.  Schools, shopping, restaurants, pharmacies and professional offices are nearby.  A children's playground is around the corner.
